Battery Park
Located on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal, the high quality Battery Park student accommodation scheme in Selly Oak provides 418 en-suite student bedrooms. This is another significant student housing project delivered through a subconsultancy agreement with Glenn Howells Architects.
The 18 storey tower will become a landmark in the area and will provide residents with exceptional views of the city. The massing, design and materiality complement the canal-side location.
The building utilises a cross wall concrete sandwich panel construction. Cut bricks are cast into the mould and windows are fitted off site to ensure high production quality and significant improvements in build programme.
