Bridge Street West
Bridge Street West is a student housing development located within walking distance of the Aston University Campus and central Birmingham. The development comprises up to 60 student apartments over six storeys and features a large, open plan common room opening onto a communal courtyard to allow students to socialise and enjoy their living space.
The proposals respond to the industrial heritage of the surrounding buildings, and the architecture is influenced by the proportion and scale of the adjacent Victorian warehouse buildings. Each spacious studio bedroom is provided with a double bed sleeping space, bijou kitchen, en-suite bathroom and a live/work area provided with full height window openings to maximise natural daylight.
