Brooke House College in Market Harborough has several sites throughout the town and a number of these sites are listed buildings with strong architectural character. Hickman & Smith were appointed as masterplan architects for the estate and were appointed to seek listed planning permission and to oversee the conservation and redevelopment of existing buildings into administrative offices, teaching and learning spaces and boarding accommodation for the students.
The high-quality listed buildings required sensitive redevelopment to maximise their potential while retaining the character and style of the properties.
