This project is former factory building which is currently being used as student accommodation. The building sits within the Greyfriars Conservation Area and required careful consideration to maintain the appearance of the existing street frontage.
The project involved the addition of a studio within the existing roof space to create a modern flat for student occupation. Existing features such as the original roof trusses were left exposed and utilised as room dividers to organise the interior space.
The approachability of Adam, David, and their colleagues was very helpful for us. It was useful to have their take on our ideas-validating them or where they felt necessary challenging them. This was done in a constructive way.
