Narborough Wood House
Narborough Wood House consists of a prominent three storey red brick villa with Georgian proportions, attached to converted ancillary buildings, identified by the local authority as a non-designated heritage asset, which was originally home to the Everards who established the local brewery.
As with many properties of this type, the existing layout didn’t suit the spatial requirements of a functional family home.
The design included the renovation of an ancillary building in conjunction with a small and delicate extension to create an improved kitchen/dining experience.
It was important that the proposal was sympathetic to the existing buildings while expressing a contemporary design with high quality materials and proportions.
