The Old Rectory
The Old Rectory is a Grade II listed property in Markfield. Delivered as a conservation project Hickman and Smith Architects were mindful of its listed status and the proposals mainly concerned interior reconfigurations. The client wished to restore some internal features and convert the building into 4 bedsits and an apartment. With external alterations limited to a new arched front door in-keeping with the existing façade and minor landscaping works to allow for vehicles.
