Victoria Tennis Club
Victoria Tennis Club provides facilities to members in Victoria Park, Leicester. The design for the clubhouse required an extension to the original clubhouse pavilion to provide approximately 6x5m of storage and ancillary space. This additional storage space is needed in order to maintain spacious changing room and shower facilities.
The clubhouse extension will be timber clad and roofed to match the original building and will be a suspended floor construction with foundations and structural beams. Works to the existing pavilion will include refurbishment of the windows and replacement window frame shape and sizes will be carried through to the new building to create a cohesive elevation. Internal works will provide thermal upgrades via insulated plasterboard. Internal partitions are to be amended and new bathroom and kitchen facilities will be provided.
The approachability of Adam, David, and their colleagues was very helpful for us. It was useful to have their take on our ideas-validating them or where they felt necessary challenging them. This was done in a constructive way.
